This is a request, not a checkout. No payment is taken here and nothing is reserved. Any firearm is picked up in person at the store, where you complete ATF Form 4473 and a background check before you can take it home.
The legal part
We want this to be clear and easy. Submitting the form above is a request only. It is not a purchase, an order, a reservation, or a sale, and it does not hold or guarantee any firearm, ammunition, price, or availability. Submitting it creates no obligation to sell, and the dealer may decline or cancel any request.
- No payment is taken through this website. Price, availability, payment, and any transfer are confirmed and completed in person at the store.
- Any firearm transfer is completed only in person at our licensed dealer, where you must complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) check, or present a valid, unexpired qualifying Iowa permit, before you can take possession. A transfer can be delayed or denied.
- Firearms are not shipped or delivered to your home. They are picked up in person at the store, or transferred through a licensed dealer in your state of residence where the law requires it. Handguns cannot be transferred to a non-Iowa resident at this store.
- You must meet the minimum age: at least 18 for long guns and long-gun ammunition, and at least 21 for handguns and handgun ammunition. Iowa law allows 18-year-olds to acquire handguns through private transfers, but federal law still prohibits a licensed dealer from selling a handgun or handgun ammunition to anyone under 21. Age and identity are verified with a valid government-issued photo ID in person, and final eligibility is determined by the dealer.
- You must be the actual buyer. Purchasing a firearm for someone else, a straw purchase, is a federal crime. The person who picks up and pays must be the buyer and must appear in person with valid photo ID.
- All transactions are subject to applicable federal, Iowa, and local laws and to the dealer's discretion. Firearms generally cannot be returned once transferred.
- The information you provide is used only to respond to your request. It goes to the licensed dealer and is not sold or used for unrelated marketing.
